Bakoted and Murree to grand grandson of Shah Wali Khan (Dhond

of Dhond Abbasi is populated here so this language called as
Dhondi/Kareali in modern age. This language was first studied by a
linguist Bailey, T.Grahame in his book Languages of the Northern Himalayas Studied in the Grammar of twenty-six Himalayan Dialects published by Royal Asiatic Society London in 1908. Circle Bakote is a traditional and religious land in Mountains and a famous route between Kashmir and ancient Taxila And Gandhara Kingdom. In prehistory when the Circle Bakote and Murree was under water, Vadic Risshies were writing Rig Vada on peaks of Musearhi and Moshpuri. A temple was built by unknown king in 8000 BCE in memorial of Sita godsess, god Hannuman Ji and god Lakshmen Ji by the order of Kirshan Ji Maharaj. A rout of Bhudist scholars was laid there from Taxila Bhudist University to Sharda Sub-campus of her via Lora, Narha, Thoba (Barhian), Nathea Gali, Moshpuri, Birote Khurd and Domail Kanair Pull on River Jhelum into Kashmir in Ashoka time.
Islam forwarded in this area in 12th century when Muslim tribes spread
in Kashmir and the crossed Riever Jhelum into Circle Bakote. The first
tribe of Area was who embraced Islam was THE KETWALS and SATTIES. They were Persians and worshiped Zoroastrian and Sheveism as a new religion. Famous Muslim saint Syed Ali Hamdani
influence reflect mentioned area and many Muslim families came there
but it is very strange that there was no maque in Circle Bakote till
17th century. The first Muslim tribe Karhal occupied area in 14th century and Dhond Abbasi tribe
in 15th century and both fought against Ketwals and Satties and
expelled them from Circle Bakote. The Islamic culture was fully
enforced, burned and destroyed all Hindu and Buddhist temples but not
built any masque there. In 17th century, a Dhound Abbasi feudal Chief Malik Soraj Khan became a theosophy minaret of light. He was first Saint, Poet of Dhondi Language, a religious scholar too. His mother Rehmat Jan was a Satti lady. He built first Masque in Potha
(Aliote, now Alyote) seven km of north of Murree City. People of Circle
Bakote and Murree Hills felt anxiety during early Sikh era and they
fought against them in Balakot under the command of Pir of Plasi Seyed Mohammed Ali Shah, a close companion of Mujahid Leaders Syed Ahmed Shahid and Shah Ismail Shahid, grand sons of Shah Waliullah Dehlvi,
but not succeeded and embraced martyrdom in Balakot. After this
incident Seyed Mohammed Ali Shah shifted to Bakot in 1832, built a
masque there and lived till his death in 1849. He was first religious
saint but his influence eclipsed after the arrival of Pir Faqir-u-llah Bakoti(died-18 November, 1921) from Pajja Shrif, Chikar
(AJK). Pir Faqir-ullah Bakoti was a great soofi saint who had thousands
of followers. He was a well known figure of Circle Bakote. He invited
people to follow the teachings of Islam in his unique way. First he came
Birote in 1870 and married in Naik Mohammedal Awan Family, and a
land of 12 kanals were gifted him by Kamalal sub tribe of Dhond there,
than he migrated to Bakote because a Ahmdea Qadeani Molvi accompanied a
masque in Central Bakote. He beated mentioned person and taught the
people of Bakote the faith of LAST MESINGER OF GOD. Pir Atiq ullah Bakoti was first member of NWFP legislative assembly (M.L.A) from Circle Bakote. He was second son of Hazrat Pir Faqir-Ullah Bakotiand
father of current Pir Azhar Bakoti. He was a great scholar and
religious leader. He had thousands of followers in Circle Bakot, Murree,
Azad Kashmir and all over Pakistan. He was educated in Deoband-India.
He was a pupil of Akhwand Sahib (Molana Abdul Ghafoor of Swat, NWFP, and
eyewitnessed of Sikh Afghan War). He organized Circle Bakote Muslim
theoretically, spiritually, politically by an organization named Anjuman
Mujahideen at Bakote, started Friday Prayers in Birote and Bakote and
he participated every person problems. Another saint who came in Circle
Bakote was Gull Baba from Mansehra and died at Ramkote east of Ayubia in
1943 and a tomb was built there.

this route by bloodshed and war of Balakot but not succeeded. The only
way for contact between Kashmir and Punjab remained Upper Dewal Kohala,

Srinager to Mirpur, AJK.Old Gajnipura that with new name of Rawalpindi

Bazar. His successor Sardar Jewan Sing occupied all Murree Hills and
Circle Bakote controle and properties of local Dhond Abbasi, Karhral,
Gakherhs and other tribes trnsfered to Hindu merchants by force. At that
time no bridge was in Kohala and travelers crossed River Jhelum at

can be seen at Domail, 200 feet above New Kohala Brige, 100 feet above

Haripur, Lora, Danna, Gorha Gali, Kotli Sattean to Patan Dhalkot and
third was Rawalpindi, Musearhi, Upper Dewal to Kohala. Resistance

After
Pakistan came in to being, many transporters came forward and invest
million of rupees in this sector both in Northren Punjab and Azad
Kashmir. A half dozzens transporters of Azad Kashmir run their services
on Kashmir Highway but rout was on Rawalpindi to Muzaferabad, Rawlakot,
Bagh, Dhirkot, Chinari and Athmuqam. Allied Chiragh Din and Srinagar
Road Transport (SRT) Company purchased more used buses and restarted
their operation. Murree Hills Transport Company monopoly was on
Rawalpindi Kohala rout which was broke by Pindi Murree Transport Company
in 1951 and started operation with 32 seater six buses. Mentioned
company got rout permit of Rawalpindi Lora, Rawalpindi Ayubia and
Rawalpindi Rewat on Kohala Bridal (Now Upper Dewal Kohala) Road. Demand
of Upper Dewal Kohala Road constraction was echoed in President House in
ex-capital Karachi and in 1958 when federal Capital shifted in
Islamabad, the importance of Upper Dewal Kohala Road emerged higher and
higher as a permanent supply line of Pakistani armed forces in Azad
Kashmir. A large land slide damaged Kashmir Highway near Aliyote in 1960
and road was closed for six months, it was a great concern for GHQ,
therefore federal government called emergency meeting of Corp Commanders
in Rawalpindi in last December and recommended constraction work of
Upper Dewal Kohala Road under supervision of Pak Army. In first phase
constraction work started on this road in mid of 1961 from Garheal to

suspended. Pakistan Army faced many hurdels in lagestic movement during

Upper Dewal Kohala Road came more aggressive again as a defence linkage
way for Armed Forces. Pak Army restarted road constraction in 1966 on
